In our texts we share the experiences we have gained in many branding projects from very different industries. It is worth reading - everyone can find something for themselves in them.
Online campaigns – what is worth knowing?

The Internet is a medium that enjoys unwavering popularity. That is why it is one of the basic marketing tools in the process of planning online campaigns. Promotion on the Internet is also particularly profitable due to lower financial outlays, in contrast to traditional advertising media.
The main goal of online campaigns is not only to be present in the recipient’s mind, but also to persuade them to visit the website and buy a given product or service. An undoubted advantage of running an online campaign is the ability to adjust it to a specific group of recipients.
Choosing the target group
Planning an online campaign should start with determining the target. What age group will the message be created for? Having a product or service for sale, you need to know who will be interested in buying it and who may find it useful, and the Internet allows you to precisely define the target group.
A campaign targeted at everyone is really a campaign targeted at no one. At the very beginning, you should therefore define the target not only in terms of age, but also gender, income, place of residence, or lifestyle.
Where to advertise?
It is equally important to determine the portals that are most frequently visited by potential customers. Depending on the type of products or services offered by a given company, each of them will promote itself on different pages.
So you should consider which Internet portals to advertise your offer on? There are plenty of options: from industry and hobby portals, through mailings, social media, or well-known bloggers.
Selecting the creative for your ad
The next step is to select the creative. Should it be an ad in the form of mailings? Or maybe an AdWords ad? If so, you should consider the keywords that will be most relevant to the target group.
If you decide to introduce banners, you should know what the current trends are in this area. If your goal is to improve brand awareness, remember that the creative should be eye-catching and memorable. For example, with banner advertising, it is worth using dynamic creatives that attract more attention.
Effectiveness measurement
There are several types of effective online advertising measurement, depending on its type. We can distinguish, among others:
- Cost per click (cost per click) – the cost per click – the website owner earns when a user clicks on the ad.
- Open rate – used in the case of e-mail marketing. It is the percentage of open mailings in relation to the number of messages sent.
- CTR, or click-through rate. It determines how often people who see the ad click on it. CTR can be used to determine the effectiveness of keywords and ads. This indicator is mainly used to assess the effectiveness of banner ads and campaigns in Internet search engines.
- Bounce rate – this is the percentage of visits to the website during which the person saw only one view of it and then left the service.
For online promotion to be successful and have the desired effect, it must be carefully thought out. It should be original and creative, because that is the only way to interest recipients.
Remember that the Internet is an extremely dynamic medium, so you should not assume that what is effective today will be just as effective tomorrow. It is worth observing current trends and taking this into account when creating subsequent campaigns.
