    Instagram has been becoming an increasingly important element in brand marketing for several years now, and for good reason. Through brand activity on this social media platform, a company can significantly impact its image. Instagram content is often spontaneous, short, and easily digestible. Importantly, it’s primarily graphics—the elements that attract social media users’ attention the most, right after videos.

    It’s not that simple

    It may seem that promoting your company or building your brand identity by posting photos on Instagram is a piece of cake, but nothing could be further from the truth; it’s worth preparing thoroughly. First and foremost, you should keep an eye on your competition. The worst mistake you can make is repeating your rivals’ shortcomings. So, let’s try to be better than them, post more often, and generate greater engagement. A good plan is half the battle. Although Instagram is a rather spontaneous medium, anyone serious about running a profile on this medium should have a prepared schedule of posts to publish on given days. This plan can, of course, be interspersed with spontaneous posts, for example, about company life and what’s happening after hours (of course, this should be done wisely). The other half of success is patience, especially if you rely on organic search. Remember also about hashtags; their selection is crucial to our success on Instagram. Understanding your audience is equally important.
