In our texts we share the experiences we have gained in many branding projects from very different industries. It is worth reading - everyone can find something for themselves in them.
Interesting animal-themed campaigns

According to marketers, anything can be sold – including ideas. That is why various organizations compete in creating campaigns that will intrigue, interest, and sometimes shock recipients. Today, we will take a closer look at campaigns in which animals are the main characters.
All campaigns, including online campaigns, aim to trigger specific reactions in society, such as changing awareness of the issue being discussed. In addition, their role is not only to inform, but also to raise awareness of certain issues.
IKEA and cardboard quadrupeds
Not so long ago, IKEA decided to support one of the shelters in Singapore and showed that genius lies in simplicity. Over 30 life-size cardboard dogs and cats were placed throughout the store. Each of the animals really existed and was waiting to be adopted at the shelter. QR codes were placed on their likenesses, which, when scanned, provided more information about the animal.
IKEA Katowice followed the same path and began cooperation with the Przystanek Schronisko foundation. The initiative was to show that the fulfillment of a “dream apartment” would be to take a four-legged friend under your roof. The campaign was a huge success and the vast majority of them found their home.

A Pinch of Controversy
The Milan agency DLV BBDO decided to encourage pet adoption in a rather unusual way. They abandoned the shock of sadness and reliance on compassion and replaced them with surprise with a dash of controversy. The campaign’s message is that a dog loves you, regardless of who we are (“A dog loves you whoever you are”), and there would be nothing surprising about it if not for the following graphics showing crime scenes:

The Problem of Global Warming
This is a rather sad campaign showing that global warming is a problem not only for humans, but also for animals. The Portuguese organization Quercus draws attention to the problem of changing the natural environment of animals due to climate change. In a short advert, animals are shown who, due to helplessness, decide to… commit suicide.
Cosmetics company against animal testing
While the campaign created by the Quercus organization evoked sadness, one cosmetics company opted for a drastic and direct message. Lush – because that is the company in question – decided to present its own approach to the issue of testing cosmetics on animals. The campaign aimed to raise public awareness of the issue, while showing that the company is against practicing such methods. The campaign focused on emotions and it must be admitted that its effect is truly shocking.
“Take a leash, give a life”
The latest campaign encourages people to adopt animals. To this end, the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) placed life-size dog portraits in the largest shopping malls, behind hanging leashes that imitated bars. Anyone could take a leash with them, which had a link to the SPCA website. The campaign became very loud, and it was also helped by promotion on the Internet – many people voluntarily started to publicize it using social media, which is why inquiries about adoption increased by 500% in just one month.
