Quality Parking
Intelligent parking space reservation system
About the Quality Parking platform
We were asked to create a branding concept and reservation system for a unique airport parking lot. Why unique? Because the parking lot’s operation was designed for full automation – from the purchase process via the app/website, through automatic checkout at the entrance via the mobile app, to airport transfers. Our scope of work included naming, visual identity design, and the creation of an online parking management system.

It's always worth starting with branding
Startups often underestimate design because they don’t want to incur additional costs in the early stages of development. In the case of Quality Parking, we dealt with a very conscious owner who recognized the importance of following key steps from the outset: 1. Strategy development; 2. Branding; 3. Platform implementation based on the designed branding.
Development of the concept of a functional platform
Based on the owner’s guidelines, we developed a list of key functionalities and the associated user flows, or processes for future users. The resulting documentation covered both the website with the reservation system and the mobile app integrated with the parking management systems. The documentation also included a list of views with descriptions of necessary integrations with external systems, as well as low-fidelity mockups (i.e., black-and-white materials illustrating processes but not representing graphic designs).
What work did we perform at this stage?
- Market Solution Analysis – We always start by checking what’s available and whether similar solutions exist.
- Strategic and Sales Assumptions – We analyze the client’s business assumptions, aligning them with functional assumptions.
- Personality Analysis – We develop a user needs specification based on interviews and, as a result, prepare a process mapping.
Pre-implementation documentation
After completing the initial documentation, we conducted a graphic design process for the system and mobile app. This resulted in over 60 unique, ready-to-implement views, known as high-fidelity mockups. Our software house, eFresh, implemented this fully integrated solution. The technology used was the Laravel framework, based on the Model-View-Controller design pattern. The system was integrated with the mobile app using React Native.
Key functionalities included in the system:
- Online parking space reservation system with payment system
- Business reporting system and sales invoice
- SMS notification system for arriving customers
- Integration with entry gates
- Integration with a display showing the arrival time of the next bus
- Notification system for bus drivers
- Integration with access cards (access to luxury bathrooms dedicated exclusively to parking customers)
Implementation front end platform
Implementation work was divided into sprints (each sprint lasting 10 business days), including: 6 business days for developer work, 4 hours for QA testing, and 1 day for client-side testing. Each sprint included 2 days for improvements; if the project was completed faster, we would start a new sprint.
Progress management and monitoring:
- In the Monday.com system, we maintained a board accessible to the client and the team, where we monitored project progress
- The client reviewed each sprint and provided feedback in sprint comments
- The closing of each sprint, the acceptance protocol, and work settlement were all conducted remotely
- After the implementation was complete, it took us approximately 20 business days to test and integrate all features, including integration with the parking system
- We conducted testing based on the client’s description of business-side test scenarios

Preparing for publication platforms
The pre-release preparation phase included several key steps, as outlined below:
Post-BETA training
- The training in using the reservation system and presenting the processes took approximately 6 hours
- We also provided instructions for the staff
Pre-release testing on all language versions included:
- Business scenario testing in all language versions
- Document exchange testing between the reservation system and parking gates, payment testing
- Speed testing
- SEO optimization
After completing the BETA version implementation, i.e. a fully operational system with test content integrated with payments and external systems, the ready-to-launch version was handed over.
