Canexpol
Implementation of a website for a manufacturer of farm equipment

About Canexpol and our mission
Canexpol has been successfully cooperating with the German market for almost 40 years as a manufacturer of plastic products for agriculture. Brand4Future carried out a comprehensive branding project for Canexpol, and we were responsible for designing and implementing the website.
Branding is the key to digital implementation
The first step to creating a coherent brand image in digital (including website implementation) is always well-designed branding: a brand mark and visual style that coherently communicates the unique features of the brand. See how we did it for Canexpol.

Website Operation Assumptions and Preparatory Work
During the preparatory work, we conducted an analysis of competitors and market leaders abroad. The next step was to understand the needs of users.
- We conducted a persona analysis – during the research and based on the Client’s guidelines, one main persona emerged – the Director of the Purchasing Department of a large company with a special profile (agricultural market or home decor market)
- We developed a description of the specific functions and the way the Website works – based on the conclusions from the analyses, we developed the layout of the home section and individual subpages, which we worked on at the mockup stage
Graphic design
and preparation of clickable mockups
We divided the Canexpol website design process into several stages, each closed with milestones:
Step I – preparation of a conceptual design of the home page
Step II – corrections and refinement of the home page in the mobile and desktop versions
Step III – designs of other unique views in the desktop and mobile versions
Step IV – preparation of clickable mockups in Figma and supporting documentation (1. Content specification 2. Editable and non-editable specification)
The key elements to be designed were the distinctive Timeline module showing over 40 years of the company’s history and the product catalog.
Implementation desktop and mobile
Thanks to the optimization of the number of views at the mockup stage, it was possible to close the development process in 2 months. After this period, the site was ready for publication with almost all content in several language versions.
The implementation work was divided into sprints (each sprint had 5 working days) including: 4 working days for developers, 2-4 hours for QA testing by the tester, 2-4 hours for corrections, 4 hours for testing on the Client’s side. In each sprint, we planned a small period of time for corrections due to the relatively small scope of work, in the case of faster completion, we started another sprint.
Progress management and control:
- in the Monday.com system we ran a board available to the Client and the team, where we controlled the project progress
- The Client checked a given sprint and noted comments to a given sprint
- closing a given sprint, acceptance protocol and settlement of work was done completely remotely
- after the completion of the implementation, it took us about 4-5 days to test the so-called BETA version, i.e. ready to be supplemented with content

Unique Features on the website
- history and timeline – a scrolling history module with animated gifs showing key moments in the company and a timelapse of the factory expansion process, which presented its potential
- career module – an HR module integrated with internal ERP systems, enabling easy management of recruitment processes conducted in the company
- product catalog and presentation of opportunities – we implemented an extensive catalog module, the aim of which was to present the technological capabilities and know-how of the company

Content preparation - content, video and photos
We did photo sessions showing the Owners, the factory and the team at work. The image change was intended to show the company’s true strength and achievements over the 40 years of its construction.

Preparation for
publication
of the website
After providing the website with content in language versions, we conducted training for the administrator on the Client’s side on the BETA (test) version. In addition to the training, we carried out additional work to prepare the website for operation:
- manual testing on the test environment, including forms, links to social media
- optimization of the page loading speed
- optimization for SEO, launching remarketing databases, website measurement
- security tests
- 1:1 test environment and a copy of the master clickable mockups from the moment of implementation
In the implementation price, we always transfer full copyright to the projects, content and code with the right to change them at will.
