Nijhof Wassink
Truck parts supplier website
About Nijhof Wassink and our task
Nijhof-Wassink is an international logistics company specializing in the transport and distribution of bulk and liquid materials, both chemicals and feed. The company has Dutch roots and was founded in 1967. It currently operates in several European countries, including Poland, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Hungary.
For Nijhoff Wassink, we designed a corporate website and a Used Trucks website dedicated to the sale of Nijhoff Wassink vehicles (after relatively minor use).
Website operation assumptions
and preparatory work
During the preparatory work, we conducted an analysis of competitors and user needs.
- We conducted a persona analysis. Based on the client’s guidelines and research, we defined target groups and described their potential purchasing paths.
- We developed a description of the website’s specific features and functionality. Based on the analysis findings, we developed a list of views and described specific features, particularly for the USED TRUCKS website.

Graphic design
and preparation of clickable mockups
We divided the design process of the NIjhof Wassink website into several stages, each with a milestone:
Step I – preparing a conceptual design of the home page and the USED TRUCKS home page to show the visual concept.
Result: acceptance of the creative line
Step II – Designing key views and section layouts for the corporate website and USED TRUCKS
Result: acceptance of the so-called page grid and key views
Step III – designs of the remaining unique views in the desktop and mobile versions
Step IV – preparing clickable mockups in Figma and supporting documentation (1. Content specification 2. Editable and non-editable specifications)
In total, we created over 60 unique views (in mobile and desktop versions), and the design process took 3 months.

Desktop and mobile implementation
We first implemented the corporate website, then the USED TRUCKS website. The entire implementation process took four months.
It was divided into sprints, each lasting 10 business days. The work schedule was as follows:
- Eight days were allocated for development work,
- two to four hours for testing performed by a QA tester,
- another two to four hours for making corrections,
- and four hours for testing conducted on the client’s side.
Project management and progress monitoring were conducted via the Monday.com platform, where we maintained a shared project board accessible to both the team and the client. We monitored progress on an ongoing basis by organizing daily and weekly meetings.
The client continuously monitored the progress of each sprint, providing feedback in the form of comments.
Each sprint concluded with a remote acceptance test – an acceptance report was prepared and the work was settled.
After the implementation was complete, we conducted comprehensive testing of the BETA version, ready for content addition. This stage lasted approximately 4–5 days.

Preparing for website
publication
After updating the website with content in all language versions, we conducted training for the client’s administrator using the BETA (test) version.
In addition to the training itself, we also completed a number of activities to prepare the website for production launch, including:
- manual functional tests in a test environment (including contact forms, social media links),
- optimizing page loading speed,
- SEO activities, launching remarketing databases and implementing analytical tools,
- safety tests,
- preparing a test environment that reflects the production version 1:1 and an archived copy of clickable mockups from the moment of implementation.
As part of the implementation, the client received full copyright to all designs, content and source code – with the possibility of any modification.
Technical support
and development
