For one of the leading distributors of outdoor equipment, we designed and implemented a website with image and information functions.

While working on the concept, we were inspired by the world’s best projects presenting outdoor products and unique photos of nature.

• we conducted a persona analysis:

1. 1. traveler – based on interviews, we built a user path for a persona who buys outdoor equipment at both amateur and professional levels
   2. nature enthusiast – based on interviews, we described features and functionalities important from the point of view of people who love nature (foresters, nature photographers, or simply survival enthusiasts)

• We developed a description of the website’s specific features and functionality. Our primary goal was to showcase unique photos taken by one of the company’s employees. For informational purposes, we emphasized the online product catalog and the presentation of brands collaborating with the company.
• We prepared a preliminary design of the home page in mobile and desktop versions – in order to present the visual concept and obtain the client’s approval for the visual style

We prepared approximately 12 unique views and several additional ones. During the design phase, we created clickable mockups, a complete set of text, and other content elements.

The implementation process took approximately 1.5 months, and the site underwent a testing phase before publication. The preparation process for publication included:

• Training for client-side administrators on the BETA (test) version
• Content implementation
• Manual testing in a test environment, including forms, social media links, integration with the email delivery system, and marketing consent management
• Website loading speed optimization
• SEO optimization, remarketing database launch, and website metering
• Security testing
