    Dog snacks in digital
    and our task

    For the Dogway brand, owned by Maced, we first completed a brand lifting project (see the Brand4Future portfolio link below), and its natural progression was to design and implement a new website. The topic of healthy dog ​​snacks was very rewarding and brought us a lot of satisfaction. See what the work on it looked like.

    Assumptions of the action www and preparatory work

    As part of pre-implementation work, based on Personas built in the branding process, we carried out the following work:

    • analysis of competitors’ websites and research of sample solutions from foreign markets
    • development of information needs and user paths
    • list of views and functionalities expected on the website
    • we also conducted a consultation in terms of SEO

    Unique Features
    on the website

    The Dogway website, despite its strictly image-oriented form, contained several interesting and unique solutions:

    • A map of the distribution network and Dog Friendly locations – the interactive map fulfilled two functions: firstly, it showed where you can buy the brand’s products, secondly, it presented the network of locations marked by Dogway as Dog Friendly (according to our concept, the Maced company delivered free food and treats to selected restaurants, cafes and shelters), marking them as places where your pets will always find a bowl of water and some food.
    • Videoblog – the blog module was expanded with videoblog options and, according to the promotional assumptions, it was to have educational values ​​thanks to cooperation with dog behaviorists and trainers.
    • Online product catalog – the online catalog contained intuitive filters allowing you to select treats not only according to the dog’s size but also its preferences (e.g. type of play).

    The implementation process took over 3 months, included just over 20 unique views and 16 additional ones. The site was implemented in 2 language versions.

    As part of our content work, we developed scripts and shot videos consistent with the brand identity – showing how different the natures of dogs are and… how often perverse.

    for publishing the website

    After providing the website with content in both language versions, we conducted training for the administrator on the Client’s side on the BETA (test) version. In addition to the training, we carried out additional work to prepare the website for operation:

    • manual testing on the test environment, including forms, links to social media
    • optimization of the page loading speed
    • optimization for SEO, launching remarketing databases, website measurement
    • security tests
    • 1:1 test environment and a copy of the master clickable mockups from the moment of implementation

    In the implementation price, we always transfer full copyright to the projects, content and code with the right to change them at will.
