Types of eCommerce

Projects of e-stores and eCommerce platforms are divided into 3 types depending on the number of products and the level of complexity.

Small E-Commerce
(1-100 products)

A small store is usually called B2C (direct purchase by the consumer). Usually, you can include such a store in one of the following groups: sale of hand-made products, sale of products with a small number of variants, or website promoting a product with online shopping functionality. The process of the e-store implementing

Customer needs analysis

At the initial stage of cooperation, we focus on understanding the specifics of the client's business and its requirements. At the same time, we inspire customers by showing functionalities collected from around the world tailored to their needs. The effect of this stage is a description of the client's expectations and functional specification.

The store prototyping

Our clients receive a clickable prototype that allows them to understand how the site will work. We usually prepare it in either the AXURE program or the UX Pin program. Thanks to this solution, the Customer becomes familiar with the structure of the website, distribution of its content, buttons and can learn about the proposed functions on the backend (i.e. from the Administrator's point of view). At this level, we will eliminate most of the doubts associated with the placement of content in the e-store. The model form is the foundation for further work on eCommerce and an attachment to the contract.

Dedicated graphic design

First, we design the main page, sample 2-3 subpages and the mobile version - usually in 2 graphic lines to choose by the customer. We deal with each project individually - we rely on the concept of the brand, follow branding guidelines, look for interesting creative ideas. When designing an online store, we remember the principles of User Experience - it makes the website transparent and functional, and customers are able to navigate it intuitively and efficiently. This makes online shopping easier, makes them more enjoyable, which reflects on conversion and profit for the seller.

Frontend and Backend

After the graphic designs of key views approval, we proceed to prepare the HMTL frontend ("HTML cutting"), i.e. animated views from the user's point of view. At this stage, the customer has the option of making changes and making corrections. The next step is to prepare a part of the backend - an e-store engine is implemented, specific functionalities and integrations are implemented, and the administrative part is prepared.

Content and optimization for SEO

Before launching the store, the key is to fill it with good content (photos with correct descriptions, content, tags, video, guides). In e-commerce it is often a difficult and complicated creation process that requires work and experience. We offer clients the creation and introduction to the e-store of content adapted to the requirements of search engines. Our e-stores are tailored to the requirements of SEO, we install a metering system (e.g. Google Analytics), configure custom reports and conversion paths. We also integrate the store with Google AdWords or other advertising systems and configure the backup system. Then, we secure the store against hacking attempts, and at the customer's request we conduct security tests with an external company.

Performance tests, training and commissioning.

When we have a ready e-store in the BETA version, the testing time comes - together with the client we verify the entered content, speed of e-store and integration reliability. We can now conduct training for e-store administrators so that the platform has no secrets for them and we share technical documentation to the Customer e.g e-store content and assortment management panel.

eCommerce service and development

As part of constant cooperation with the customer, we provide efficent e-store operation without interruptions (including plugin maintenance, security checks, database checks and server operations). We create automatic tests for the client's needs and carry out periodic manual tests. Every 3months we recommend which innovations and improvements can be introduced.

We advise choosing a Partner to conduct e-shop positioning and digital promotion activities at the beginning of creating an online store.
