Graphic design:

It is characterised by the Scandinavian minimalism; the simple geometry of shapes is broken by textures which refer to criminal puzzles and the use of a typeface which is associated with a traditional typewriter. The cool tone of the entire design is in stark contrast with burgundy details, thus representing the atmosphere of books written by Jo Nesbo.

Technology:

We developed the website based on the WordPress CMS, using the WooCommerce plugin and the LightBox framework. The use of these tools was aimed at the optimisation of the website speed. The website was integrated with the external store API.

Functionalities:

By taking advantage of the options offered by the WooCommerce plugin, we provided the website with additional functionalities, including the dynamic cart (as a result of this, the website is not overloaded after adding a product to the cart) and the integration with shipping and payment systems. Additionally, the website is integrated with the writer’s fanpage on Facebook.

Promotional elements:

An interesting solution that we applied was the implementation of the discount code system. Owing to this system, the website administrator can grant individual or group discounts for specific purchases.
