About POLPLAN
Polplan is a Polish family company, operating continuously since 1983 and considered a leader in the production of tent halls. As the longest-operating manufacturer of tarpaulins, halls and tents in Poland, Polplan provides solutions tailored to the individual needs of customers from various industries – from logistics and production to outdoor events. The company operates globally, carrying out even the most complex orders, and in the record-breaking 2021 it built over 1,600 halls. Its construction is distinguished by a combination of safety, aesthetics and timely implementation.
Page before changes
The new layout of the website for Polplan was a natural continuation of the rebranding we carried out. Our task was not only to create an attractive visual layer, but above all to prepare a complete description of the views and structure of the website – based on the functionalities defined by the Client. The project aimed to improve usability, clarity of content and better adapt to the needs of recipients from different markets.
You can see how the website looked before the changes below.
User flow and conceptual presentation
When working on a new website, we analyze user paths and information needs in terms of the products sold. As a result, before we start designing layouts, together with the Client, we define the key needs and goals of the new website. We show the navigation logic and how to use key functions and inspire by indicating interesting solutions collected from globally recognized website benchmarks. On this basis, the final list of views is created along with the functionalities assigned to them.

Mockup
desktop
As part of the desktop mockup stage, we created a comprehensive page layout that includes an individual design for each subpage, as well as views of forms and key functions. We designed 22 unique views and 11 additional views. The biggest challenge was to present the Client’s product offer in a transparent manner.
Mockup
mobile
Taking care of full responsiveness, we designed each subpage also in the mobile version. Mobile layouts are not only an adaptation of the desktop layout to smaller screens, but also a thoughtful adjustment of individual elements to the needs of mobile users. In the mobile version, some functions and views have been exposed, and others have been replaced with more intuitive and functional solutions for the comfort of use on smartphones and tablets.
Supplementary Documentation
In each project that we implement for an external implementation company (and this was the case here), in addition to clickable desktop and mobile prototypes in Figma, we also develop additional documentation. In the case of complex entities, we also design a design system – in this case, it was not necessary.
Content specification – describes the size of text containers, technical guidelines for individual graphics and videos (including resolution, maximum file size, saving format). Thanks to this, the developer receives precise information that facilitates and speeds up implementation.
Editable-non-editable specification – specifies which sections and elements of the page can be independently managed by the administrator on the Client’s side, and which will require the developer’s intervention.
